Collision Repair and Refinishing
(Auto Body)

This program focuses in collision repair that graduates will be working on when they start in a body shop. Skills learned include dent repair, welding, estimating, mechanical repair, paint prep and painting. Graduates of this program are in high demand. Careers can range from auto collision and painting to repairing and painting trucks, to painting airplanes and more! 

Collision repair

In this class you will learn how to assess and repair damage related to a collision. You will learn plastic repair, welding, component R&R, suspension and steering, alignment angles, fasteners, pulling dents, fiberglass repair, sanding, paint prep and more. Graduates with these skills are in high demand.

Painting

In this class you will learn the art of automotive painting. It's much more than swinging a paint gun. You need to know how match paint, mask the car, prep for paint, follow proper procedures, spraying technic, ratios and the list goes on. The skills learned in this class can be used in many job settings. Painting airplanes, trucks and of course cars are just a few places  you can use these skills.

Estimating

In this class you will learn about identifying collision related damage, hidden damage, how kinetic energy affects damage and of course how to build an estimate. All the above plus customer service skill are taught in this class. Estimators are a key position in any body shop. 

Professional Development Program (PDP)

Our PDP program was developed to help our students be better prepared for life after Job Corps. You will learn money management, interviewing skills, employability skills, how to write a resume, how to be part of a team, employer expectations and much, much more. Employers say this is one of the most important classes.
